Armenia Strengthens Digital Infrastructure: Progress in Telecom and the Development of Telecom Week 2026

Armenia has made significant progress in the development of its telecommunications and digital infrastructure, said Kristine Djondzhan, the head of the Union of Operators of Armenia, at the opening of Telecommunications Week 2026 in Yerevan. According to her, modern communication networks have become not only a technological foundation but also a basis for business, education, government services, and digital economy innovations.

The event brought together representatives from the private sector, international partners, and regulators to discuss key industry development directions, advanced technologies, and collaboration between government bodies and businesses. The event will feature discussions on AI, audiovisual media, regulation, market challenges, and the future of communication networks in Armenia.
