On April 23, 2026, Aztelecom presented a report on infrastructure development in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions. During the reporting period (January–March 2026), the operator expanded coverage, connecting 1,394 households and business entities to high-speed internet (FTTH/GPON technology). The infrastructural development of these territories is a priority state task. Providing connectivity to 9 urban centers and 29 villages creates a foundation for the economic revival of the region, allowing businesses to use modern B2B platforms and the population to receive state electronic services. The high density of new optical line construction demonstrates the operator's aggressive strategy to cover the territory, making Karabakh one of the most technologically advanced regions in terms of broadband penetration in the country.
