Mobiuz has launched more than 300 new 4G LTE base stations in Uzbekistan’s Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions. The new sites went live across all districts in both regions and are intended to strengthen coverage while increasing network capacity amid rising mobile data demand.
According to the operator, subscribers in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya together consume more than 11.5 gigabytes of data every second. Mobiuz says the traffic growth is driven not only by a larger subscriber base, but also by ongoing network expansion and capacity upgrades.
In Kashkadarya, the largest share of deployments was concentrated in the Shahrisabz, Kitab, Kasbi, Kasan and Karshi districts, as well as in the cities of Karshi and Shahrisabz. In Surkhandarya, the main rollout areas were Denau, Jarkurgan, Kumkurgan, Termez and Sariosiyo districts, along with the city of Termez.
Beyond new site construction, the operator optimized base station performance at more than 400 locations in Kashkadarya in 2026 and upgraded another 250-plus sites while expanding capacity. New software also improved VoLTE and ViLTE services, making them available to a larger number of subscribers.
Mobiuz says it continues to build and modernize its networks across Uzbekistan, focusing on higher capacity and better mobile internet quality as traffic demand keeps growing.
