OCUDU Ecosystem Foundation welcomes Intel as a premier member

The OCUDU Ecosystem Foundation has announced that Intel is joining as a premier member. The move expands the group of companies working on the shared OCUDU software ecosystem for open RAN and related telecom solutions.

According to the foundation, Intel will bring expertise in cloud-native architectures, silicon development and telecommunications. For the industry, that means deeper collaboration across software vendors, hardware platforms and network infrastructure providers.

Open RAN remains one of the telecom sector’s key development areas, with open interfaces, component interoperability and scalable network design at the center of the effort. The addition of a major technology company to such an initiative could help accelerate ecosystem maturity and improve the readiness of solutions for mobile operators.

OCUDU positions itself as a collaborative platform for software development and integration, and Intel’s participation underscores the industry’s interest in building more flexible and modular telecom infrastructure. The focus remains on performance, efficiency and deployment readiness for next-generation communications networks.
